Hi John, while your American Comedy server is down you might want to check the program Can You Top This - "Service" episode. When it aired a few nights ago, it was severely distorted after about 30 seconds in. Maybe a fluke. Again, thank you so much for all of your hard work keeping this amazing programming going.

Hi Tony, thanks for your message. I know of the American Comedy Channel issues and there in no quick fix unfortunately without impacting the other channels. We will be upgrading the server in the near future and database so this should put things right. I will check the episode and see if it is corrupted or there was a problem with the encoder. Thanks for letting me know, appreciate it. John

Brilliant programs. I was born and grew up in Brighton. Radio was and remains theater or the mind - and the images are far better than any 5K TV can provide.

Hi, thanks for your 1940s Radio London stream, which helps placate my 93yr old Mother who has dementia. Your service is much appreciated. Unfortunately, i must point out an error you made between 4pm-5pm UK time yesterday, Wednesday February 8th, 2017. The version of "You're Driving Me Crazy" by Charlie's Orchestra turned out to the Nazi propaganda version, being derogatory towards Churchill and "The Jews". I'm sure it must just be a case of it slipping out accidentally and i wasn't personally offended but i can imagine that there are people out there who could be upset by this material. i hope this post will be helpful to you for future reference. many thanks, again, for your service.

Thank you for your work on getting American Comedy back up. It's kind of like went the power in your house goes out. It's then that you cry out loud, "oh why did I take you for granted?!" Thanks for all of your hard work. When you go home tonight, announce to all "Behold a superhero, I have restored American Comedy throughout the world"

*** SCHEDULES *** For all of you that have left a message regarding missing schedules... I have managed to reinstate the schedules for half of the affected channels. Unfortunately the folder became corrupted holding the csv files. All schedules under the "Schedule 1" menu are now restored. I am working on the remaining channels. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. John

Hi It can never be more than a approximate indication at the top of each hour due to many factors. the main one being that players and apps are buffering the audio stream, even though we allow for that (We play the Pips 40 seconds ahead of the hour) your chosen listening device can still effect the accuracy together with network lag etc. If you want a truly accurate time check you need a Short Wave set tuned to the BBC World Service 🙂

I appreciate the programming on all the ROK channels and listen through the night regularly. I know they are all broadcast in mono and therefore do not expect to hear stereo. However, the way ROK generate mono is to broadcast only one channel of the original stereo instead of combining left and right together. This affects programmes recorded in stereo with wide separation like ISIHAC this morning from 1981 which causes Barry Cryer to be almost inaudible. All stereo music played is ruined, including A Taste of Honey at the top of every hour on Comedy One where the final piano notes sound as if they are outside the studio! Can this be rectified please?

Strange as it never tripped the off-air alarm, but the encoders were still alive, just the player stuck. Fixed now, Apologies and thank you for letting us know.
